Day Three

Pastor Jane Evans   -

Check your spiritual bank balance

Faith is not just a personal belief system; it’s a currency by which you receive what you do not have.

Just like you need the currency of the world to buy the products of the world, in the same way, Faith is the currency of the kingdom and with faith you get access to all of God’s ‘products’.

We need to pray, but if we pray without faith nothing happens.  We need to fast, but if we fast without faith, we just lose weight.  We all need God to perform miracles in our lives but without Faith nothing changes.  We can be devout religious Christians but without faith we aren’t saved and we can’t please God.

Faith’s definition is “a complete trust or belief in someone”

Faith by its definition is a choice. Why would you choose to be poor in FAITH??  Why would you be poor in the currency of miracles, breakthrough?

Jesus constantly told people that it was their faith that made a difference.

The two blind men in

Matthew 9:29

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”;

The woman with the issue of blood in

Luke 8:48

Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

And to the leper in Luke 17:19

Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

One of the greatest miracles of all is to forgive someone.  This really proves whether you are rich in faith.  In fact when Jesus said this in Luke 17, without hesitation, the disciples cried out.……… Increase our faith…….

Check your faith bank balance. You only need a tiny bit to keep the account open, and the good news is that whatever we offer to God He can multiply and grow! Ask God today to increase your faith, offer Him what you have, and ask Him to multiply it! He multiplied the little that the disciples brought to him, and fed a whole multitude with it, he can do the same with your faith!
